Visitors to Hong Kong need a passport, valid for at least six months after their intended departure date from Hong Kong. Visa-free entry is possible for citizens of most countries with periods ranging from 7 to 90 days. Check the conditions applicable to you on Hong Kong's Immigration Department website.
In case you intend to travel on from Hong Kong, note that you will need a visa to enter mainland China. Visas can be provided in Hong Kong or before departure from your home country.
