Hangzhou is a pleasant town with many parks situated on the shore of the beautiful West Lake.
Founded in 589, Huangzhou was one of the six old capitals of China. It was capital of the Wuyuw state from 907 until 978 and then again from 1129 and 1279 of the Southern Song dynasty.
In old China, Hangzhou was famous for the beauty of its women.
