Population92% Han Chinese, many minorities including Zhuang, Uygur, Hui, Yi, Tibetan, Miao, Manchu, Mongol, Buyi, Korean
LanguageThe official language within China is the Putonghua (Mandarin, based on the Beijing dialect.) Yue (Cantonese), Wu (Shanghainese), Minbei (Fuzhou), Minnan (Hokkien-Taiwanese), Xiang, Gan, Hakka dialects, minority languages
ReligionOfficially, China is atheistic, but religions are (again) tolerated. Mostly Daoism and Buddhism, often a blend between the two; some Muslim and Christian

Asian people, and Chinese make no exception, like to take pictures. The most important thing is the person on the picture, e.g., me in front of the Forbidden City, me on the Great Wall, me next to... They also like being photographed together with a white person. So, if you are a white person, expect to be grabbed by locals who want to take pictures with you.
