The Royal Selangor Pewter Factory is the largest pewter factory in the world with more than 500 employees. The factory was founded in 1895 and uses the local Straits tin, alloyed with antimony and copper.
It is possible to visit some of the workshops and watch the pewter working. You can buy the products in the showroom at the factory, or at showrooms downtown and at the airport.
