Newly opened to foreigners, the Golden Rock of Kyaik-tiyo is the most-visited sight of Myanmar's intra-tourism. It is a round rock, leaning partly over the deep gorge. Legend has it that a hair of Buddha holds it in balance. You have to walk the 11-kilometers-long pilgrims way.
There is an entrance fee and another for taking pictures. For the long walk you may hire a porter.
