Tibet > General Information > Climate
Tibet has a continental climate and its high altitude (most of it is above 4,000 m) warrants rather cold weather, although in summer the thermometer may climb to 25-30 degrees Celsius.
The travelling season lasts from April to October. August and September are recommended as the prime months, however, sunshine is most intense then.
